Are You Fucking Kidding Me, Japan?! of the Day: The Japanese hidden camera show “Panic Face King” (AKA The Super Terrific Happy Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Variety Hour) seems to think it’s a good idea to lock a man in a room with a bunch of strangers and then proceed to have them picked-off by an unseen sniper.

And the laughter… so much horrible, horrible laughter…

To alleviate another kind of noise, the D3S also features a Quiet Shutter Mode which substantially reduces the sound of the camera’s mirror-down cycle, which is perfect for shooting in sensitive environments, such as movie sets, meetings, ceremonies, or while photographing wildlife.

did you draw the whale-deer on a bathroom wall in greenpoint, brooklyn?
if so, i know a pretty girl who loved your work so much that she got it permanently affixed to her body and would subsequently like to meet you and perhaps ornament herself or her apartment with more of your work. if you did not draw whale-deer or know who did, please help out by reblogging and spreading the word!

bi

Maybe I have be hesitant to say that I am bi-coastal because of the social connotation… like it is alright for a girl to be bi, but a man? “once he has been west, he’s always a westerner.” People don’t really ever believe you either, “Oh, this is chad - he lives on the east coast AND west coast” and everyone laughs like it is impossible. It’s not that I can’t make up my mind, it’s not that I am more open minded (or dare I say it “liberal”) than others… it’s that I like BOTH. Sometimes I need the hard streets and sometimes the sandy beaches. buildings : palm trees. squirrels : foxes. good, cheap food : beautiful, consistent weather.  male : female. I am bi. coastal.

I am making a list of the clothing I am keeping in NYC and MN and soon I will have a list for LA. I once heard that true luxury travel is sans luggage. I would love for this to be the case. I am taking two 50 pound duffel bags and a 70 pound rolling storm case with two carry-ons. I may even have to add a fourth bag. Granted, I am a SCUBA diver, photographer, and producer and need equipment… however, after this trip, I’m leaving more than I thought I could. I’m becoming split. I’m just following the work.

Maybe it’s because no one has ever asked me to stay anywhere. I don’t know what I would say if they did.
